Music Pitch Presentation
Here is a little wordle Andrea and I made for our music pitch presentation. We chose to do this in order to make our presentation look more dynamic, interesting and fun. We changed the colours of the text in our wordle to bright vibrant colours that stand out in order to help us present and give an idea of the style of theme we are going to use when producing our music video.

Band Brand
ELECTROPOP
Here are some photos and videos of the style Andrea and I would like to present in our own music video. The original music video to the song we have chosen which is Potential Break-Up song - Aly & Aj is quite monotone as it is mostly in black and white or just very simple colours. This is one of the reasons to why we have chosen the complete opposite style. Another reason to why we have decided to use bright bold colours is because Electropop music is usually always up-beat and fun, we think that bright bold colours is a good way of expressing the mood of the song.
You may be thinking 'surely a break-up song is supposed to be sad' and this is why we have chosen to use various effects in our music video. The plan is to have a black and white effect when singing about the past (break-up) in order to show sadness and bright bold colours mainly in the chorus which is the lively fun part of the song.
We have done a lot of research into fashion, make-up, colours and effects in order to find whats most suitable to use in our music video.

Laura Mulvey
- Best known for her essay, "Visual Pleasure and Narrative
Cinema", written in 1973 and published in 1975 in the influential British film theory journal Screen. - Her article was one of the first major essays that helped shift the orientation of film theory towards a psychoanalytic framework, influenced by the theories of Sigmund Freud and Jacques Lacan. |
